Elements of Art

“Elements of Art” wants you to be a part of our event that is going to impact the art world in Miami. Our three goals are to: bring together the artists of Florida International University and around the globe, promote art in Miami, and help raise funds for non-prot organizations such as Invisible Children. We cannot acheive our goals without you.

“Elements of Art” is an event that was created by Tessa Metayer, Nathalie Calvin, Cassandra Andrade and Jerry Gomez-Galvis III. Professionals of various media trades, Metayer, Calvin, Andrade and Gomez Galvis III were looking to create an event in Miami that would promote art while raising money for a great cause. “Elements of Art” will not only accomplish its three goals but also create a night that people will not forget.

We are scheduled to provide an evening of art for the people of Miami on March 8, 2008 at Florida International University’s Biscayne Bay Campus. If you are an artist looking for a venue to share your work while helping out a great cause, “Elements of Art” is where you need to be.

Tessa Metayer, Nathalie Calvin, Cassandra Andrade and Jerry Gomez-Galvis III will host an art auction to bring the artists from all over the globe to Florida International University along with promoting art in Miami and beneting a non-prot organization, Invisible Children.

Artists can submit their work for the rst 'Elements of Art Night and Auction' on March 8, 2008 . Artists can submit their work in any form of art media (sculpture, photography,painting, etc.) for display at the event that follows the theme of 'Elements' (earth/land, wind, re and water). Artists can also submit work for our silent auction that benets Invisible Children. Art submissions for the silent auction will follow the theme, 'What is your idea of an Invisible Child?'
