Formerly known as DJ Smurf a pioneer of Euro and Progressive music in the Midwest, Dan is a nine year veteran Mixshow DJ at B96 (WBBM-FM), Chicago’s Most Listened to Radio Station. In addition to being a producer / remixer and running his label Mixmastered Records, he is also the Chicago Bears’ exclusive DJ for their Official Tailgate Parties and Draft-Day Parties and the Chicago Bulls’ choice for pre-game warm-up mixes and Luv-a-Bulls cheer mixes. You are most likely to hear The Mixmaster mixing a blend of hip hop, electro house, and rock / mashups when you hear him behind the tables. First place winner at the Super DJ Spin-off at the RA Nightclub (now LAX), housed in Las Vegas Luxor Casino in August of 2001. Has since opened for such acts as Kanye West, Diddy, T-Pain, Akon, Rhianna, Shakira, Run DMC, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Sean Paul, LL Cool J, and Missy Elliott, among other of today’s hot acts.
